In order to comply with the international standards set out by the Financial Action Task Force ("FATF"), the Thai Parliament passed an amendment to the Anti-money Laundering Act and introduced a counter terrorist financing Act. These measures aim to ensure that Thailand is removed from FATF's “dark-gray list” of high-risk and non-cooperative jurisdictions.
