Josef Lysoněk is an integral part of Clifford Chance's real estate practice in the Prague office.

Specializing in real estate M&A, asset management, and real estate financing, Josef has developed his expertise through advising clients on some of the most prominent transactions within the Czech market.
    

  • Advising Finep, a prominent Czech developer, in the sale of a residential complex in Hloubětín to the Mint residential fund. The transaction's value is approaching one billion Czech crowns.
  • Advising a club of banks led by UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, as mandated lead arranger and sole global coordinator, and with Česká spořitelna, Československá obchodní banka, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Intesa Sanpaolo, Komerční banka, Raiffeisenbank and Všeobecná úverová banka as arrangers, in connection with green and sustainability-linked long-term secured club financing relating to Czech residential portfolio located in Ostrava and Pilsen provided to Heimstaden Czech and guaranteed by Heimstaden Czech Pilsen and Heimstaden Bostad.
  • Advising Komerční banka, Česká spořitelna and Raiffeisenbank in connection with club loan facility provided to finance development of the largest ever warehouse in the Czech Republic in Kojetín.
  • Advising G City Europe on recent disposal of Atrium Palác Pardubice, a shopping centre located in the heart of Pardubice, Czech Republic, and the adjacent land plot for EUR 123.8 million.
  • Advising LCN Capital Partners on sale and lease back acquisition of a portfolio consisting of 11 car showrooms in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and related financing obtained from UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia.
  • Advising G City Europe in relation to a divestment of Optima, shopping centre located in Košice, Slovakia.
  • Advising Heimstaden Bostad, leading residential property company in the Nordic countries, on EUR 1.3 billion acquisition of the RESIDOMO residential portfolio located in the Moravia-Silesia region that consists of more than 42,000 residential units - it is by far the largest residential portfolio in the Czech Republic.
