In a difficult economic climate and volatile markets, where certainty of deal execution is paramount, public M&A transactions are in practice facing increased deal risk. In recent months, across the globe key M&A transactions have been thwarted by national/state intervention, widely labelled as "protectionist" and other obstacles. The webinar panel will discuss their insights on relevant protectionist trends in M&A regulation and in anti-trust laws, together with other key developments in global public M&A. This will include the changing landscape of the UK takeovers regime and key developments in Asia.
