Clifford Chance advises ZAR on participation in a EUR 450 million urban development project in southern Germany
Clifford Chance has advised ZAR Real Estate Holding (ZAR) on the acquisition of the former Metz property near Nuremberg. Together with its strategic partner P&P Group, ZAR plans to develop the area into a mixed-use urban district with a focus on residential space. The development is expected to cost a total of EUR 450 million.
ZAR Real Estate Holding is a fully integrated developer of real estate projects and portfolios, based in Munich and doing business across Germany. The acquisition of this property represents a further step in the company's expansion. The site is around 85,000 m² in size and lies on the outskirts of the town of Zirndorf. It is currently used by various tenants as office and storage space.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat die ZAR Real Estate Holding (ZAR) beim Erwerb des ehemaligen Metz-Areals in Zirndorf bei Fürth beraten. Die künftige Projektentwicklung wird ZAR gemeinsam mit dem strategischen Partner P&P Group vornehmen. Auf dem Gelände soll ein gemischt genutztes Stadtquartier mit Schwerpunkt Wohnen entstehen. Das Gesamtentwicklungsvolumen beträgt 450 Millionen Euro.
Die ZAR Real Estate Holding ist ein deutschlandweit operierender, vollintegrierter Entwickler für Immobilienprojekte und -bestände mit Sitz in München. Mit dem Erwerb des Grundstücks setzt das Unternehmen seinen Expansionskurs fort. Das Areal ist rund 85.000 Quadratmeter groß und befindet sich in Stadtrandlage. Derzeit wird es von unterschiedlichen Mietern als Büro- und Lagerflächen genutzt.
