Clifford Chance has advised European real estate investment manager Redevco on the acquisition of a majority stake in redos. redos has a strong reputation in Germany as a trusted operator of retail warehouse parks and convenience retail sites.

The acquisition strengthens Redevco’s market position, especially in the highly attractive and resilient retail park segment and boosts its assets under management from EUR 6.7 billion to approximately EUR 9.7 billion.

The transaction is part of Redevco's ambitious expansion programme to grow and diversify its portfolio as a means of helping cities and urban areas become more sustainable and liveable. In addition to further opening up its pan-European investment platform to like-minded investors, Redevco also looks at alternative ways to grow, including third party asset management mandates and acquisitions of companies and their portfolios.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat den europäischen Immobilien-Investmentmanager Redevco beim Erwerb einer Mehrheitsbeteiligung an der redos Gruppe beraten. redos ist einer der führenden Asset- und Investment Manager für Fachmarktzentren und Nahversorgungsstandorte in Deutschland.

Die Akquisition stärkt die Marktposition von Redevco, insbesondere im hochattraktiven und krisenresilienten Segment der Fachmarktzentren, und erhöht das verwaltete Vermögen von 6,7 Milliarden Euro auf rund 9,7 Milliarden Euro.

Die Transaktion ist Teil des ambitionierten Expansionsprogramms, mit dem Redevco sein Portfolio vergrößern und diversifizieren möchte.
