Clifford Chance advises Technip on its proposed combination with CGG

Clifford Chance advises Technip on its proposed combination with CGG to create a first tier oil and gas services provider. The proposed transaction would take the form of a cash tender offer.

It is not certain at this stage whether such transaction will occur.

The Clifford Chance team advising Technip consists of Thierry Schoen, Aline Cardin (partners), Arnaud Felix (counsel) on Corporate M&A and French securities law aspects, Thierry Arachtingi (partner) and Mary Serhal on acquisition finance aspects, Christian Lacheze (of counsel) on employment aspects, Eric Davoudet (partner) and Katia Gruzdova (counsel) on tax aspects.
