Clifford Chance's Tokyo office celebrates its 25th anniversary

Tokyo Managing Partner Eiichi Kanda said, "Clifford Chance was one of the first international law firms to establish an office in Tokyo and today, a quarter of a century later, we remain as committed as ever. We are also very proud that we have maintained a very broad practice in Japan, and continue to see potential for growth in the market."

Regional Managing Partner Peter Charlton added, "In celebrating this birthday we are very much looking forward as a firm to our next 25 years in Tokyo and in Asia Pacific. We have strong ambitions for this region as do our clients, and we feel that they benefit greatly from our long-term commitments throughout our network."

The Tokyo office covers the four major practice areas including Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate and M&A, and Litigation & Dispute Resolution. It is one of eight offices that form Clifford Chance's Asia Pacific network.
