Clifford Chance advises Praktiker on the issue of a 250 million Euro bonds
The international law firm Clifford Chance advised Praktiker Bau- und Heimwerkermärkte Holding AG, Kirkel, Germany, on the issue of bonds in the amount of 250 million Euros.
The bonds have a term of five years with an interest rate of 5.875% p.a. The group of managers comprised joint lead managers Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank and UniCredit as well as co-managers BayernLB, DZ Bank, Raiffeisen Bank International and WestLB.
Clifford Chance already advised numerous companies and underwriting banks, respectively, on the issuance of bonds in the rapidly expanding segment of unrated companies and the so-called cross-over segment. Bond issues advised by Clifford Chance in these areas include issues of SAP, Symrise, Stada and Rhön-Klinikum.
The Clifford Chance team consisted of partners Sebastian Maerker and Markus Pfüller as well as associate Robert Koller (all Banking and Capital Markets, Frankfurt).

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat die Praktiker Bau- und Heimwerkermärkte Holding AG, Kirkel, bei der Begebung einer Anleihe mit einem Volumen von 250 Millionen Euro beraten.
Die Anleihe hat eine Laufzeit von fünf Jahren bei einer Verzinsung von 5,875 % p.a. Das Bankenkonsortium bestand aus den Joint Lead Managern Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank und UniCredit sowie den Co-Managern BayernLB, DZ Bank, Raiffeisen Bank International und WestLB.
Clifford Chance hat im stark wachsenden Segment von nicht gerateten Unternehmen sowie im sogenannten Cross-Over Bereich bereits zahlreiche Unternehmen oder platzierende Banken bei der Begebung von Anleihen begleitet, unter anderem bei den Anleihen von SAP, Symrise, Stada und Rhön-Klinikum.
