Clifford Chance advises on the sale of the "BrahmsQuartier" in Hamburg
The international law firm Clifford Chance advised Aug. Prien Immobilien and a fund company managed by The Carlyle Group on the sale of the "BrahmsQuartier" office development in Hamburg to Allianz Real Estate Germany GmbH. The parties have agreed not to disclose any details of the purchase price.
The "BrahmsQuartier", which was completed in 2009, includes office space of around 26,500 m², along with 2,900 m² of additional space and approximately 540 parking spaces. The main tenants are Exxon Mobil and a law firm.
The Carlyle Group, a global asset management company with offices in 19 countries, manages assets of around USD 97.7 billion.
The Clifford Chance team was led by partner Cornelia Thaler and included associate Dr. Kristina Jaeger (both Real Estate), partner Dr. Uwe Schimmelschmidt and counsel Anette Hofmann (both Tax) – all Frankfurt.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat eine von The Carlyle Group gemanagte Fondsgesellschaft und Aug. Prien Immobilien beim Verkauf der Hamburger Büroimmobilie "BrahmsQuartier", Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße 40, an die Allianz Real Estate Germany GmbH beraten. Über den Kaufpreis haben die Parteien Stillschweigen vereinbart.
Das im Jahr 2009 fertiggestellte "BrahmsQuartier" umfasst rund 26.500 Quadratmeter Bürofläche, circa 2.900 Quadratmeter sonstige Flächen sowie rund 540 Parkplätze. Hauptmieter sind der Konzern Exxon Mobil sowie eine Anwaltskanzlei.
