The RSGI GreenPrint Report 2023 has rated Clifford Chance '5-star' for responsible business reporting. The Report places Clifford Chance in the top three of the 180 law firms assessed.

Jeroen chairs both our Global ESG Board (which deals with our ESG related work for clients) and our, Responsible Business Board, which reports to our Executive Leadership Group. Our Responsible Business Strategy covers four pillars: Doing Business, People, Community & Pro Bono and Environment.

Our Responsible Business report 2023 outlines our progress. The 2023 report includes a recent materiality assessment that we conducted. This assessment gauged the importance of material issues such as net zero, diversity & inclusion, wellbeing, data protection, responsible tech, business and human rights, and community & pro bono to our stakeholders, including many of our key clients.

The RSGI GreenPrint Report 2023 was published in December 2023. The 5-star recognition for Clifford Chance follows a gold medal from sustainability rating agency EcoVadis in FY23 for sustainability efforts, which positioned the firm in the top two per cent of firms assessed by EcoVadis within the legal and accounting services sector.
