Clifford Chance received further recognition at the latest Bonds, Loans & Sukuk Middle East Awards on 18 November, as four of the deals in which the firm was involved were recognised deals of the year by a panel of judges.

• Winning deals in which Clifford Chance was involved include:
  Award for Bond/Sukuk Deal of the Year by a Debut Issuer: Emirate of Sharjah US$750 million sukuk. Clifford Chance advised the joint lead managers on this transaction.
• Award for Syndicated Loan Deal of the Year by a Debut Borrower: Emirates National Oil Company US$1.5 billion syndicated loan. Clifford Chance advised ENOC.
• Award for Local Currency Deal of the Year: Dubai World Trade Centre’s AED2.5 billion murabaha facility. Clifford Chance advised the arrangers.
• Award for Trade & Export Finance Deal of the Year: Emirates Airline's export credit-guaranteed US$913 million sukuk. Clifford Chance advised the arrangers.
