Awards

Clifford Chance's Milan and Rome offices have been awarded the JA Employee Engagement Award 2009 by Junior Achievement, a non-profit organisation that operates at an international level to educate high school students about business culture. Clifford Chance, together with Citigroup and Borsa Italiana (the Italian Stock Exchange), is a longstanding partner of Junior Achievement in Italy and Europe.

The award recognises the high level of commitment demonstrated by the lawyers in the firm's Milan and Rome offices, who participated in educational programmes organised by Junior Achievement in Italian high schools, in particular Ethics in Action and Business in Action.

Charles Adams, Managing Partner of Clifford Chance in Italy, received the prize during the finals and prize-giving ceremony of the Junior Achievement Biz Factory 2009 competition for students that took place at Borsa Italiana on 5 June 2009. The event rewarded teams of students for their innovative ideas on issues linked to the economy, energy and the environment.
