I work in a very friendly and cosmopolitan team in the London office. The partners in the group are recognised experts in their fields and the group is involved in cutting edge work for financial institutions and in particular insurance companies.
Recently the team went on the Global Insurance Retreat to Prague which was an amazing opportunity for all insurance lawyers across the Clifford Chance network to come together. The weekend away with the team has now been immortalised by some rather interesting candid camera photographs stuck up in the pantry!
London's beauty lies in its diversity. Regardless of where one is from it is very easy to find one's niche…and if you are Indian then it's almost as if you never left home. Added to that is the fact that London proves a convenient hub for international travel and it is always possible to hop across the channel for a long weekend away to most European cities, and for the more adventurous even just for lunch and a drink.
I joined Clifford Chance in February 2006. Before joining, I graduated from National Law School of India University and worked for a short while as an associate in the Mumbai offices of Amarchand Mangaldas.
