Hein Tonnaer specialises in project finance (with a strong focus on renewable energy) and export finance. He co-leads the worldwide Clifford Chance Renewables Group and Energy & Infrastructure projects group in Amsterdam. He combines deep sector knowledge in the energy transition space primarily in renewables (including offshore, onshore, solar, hydrogen, battery storage). He also advised on TMT infrastructure, aviation, and export finance. He has extensive experience advising energy firms, lenders and sponsors across several international projects.
