Katharine Missenden specialises in EU competition law across a wide range of industry sectors, including heavy industries, technology, aviation, finance, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods and retail. Katharine has particular expertise in EU and multi-jurisdictional merger control, EU antitrust investigations, and the implementation of antitrust best practices.

  • FairSearch, the original complainant regarding Google’s Android practices, as an intervener before the General Court in support of the European Commission, including pleading before the Court
  • Oracle on its $28 billion acquisition of Cerner Corporation
  • GE on several merger control proceedings, including its $30 billion divestment of GE Capital Aviation Services to AerCap
  • AXA on the sale of its operations in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia to UNIQA, which won Poland deal of the year at the 2020 CEE Deal of the Year awards
