Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard for Buildings – Regulations published

The Department of Energy and Climate Change has published further detail on the financial penalty provisions which will apply to landlords who let out commercial premises falling below an 'E' energy performance rating progressively as from 1 April 2018. This Briefing notes the key new details and clarifications published in the Response to consultation and draft Regulations.
