China joins international crackdown of price-fixing cartel for the first time

16 January 2013

China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced, on 4 January 2013, that it had fined six international liquid crystal display (LCD) screen producers, Samsung, LG, AU Optronics, Chunghwa Picture Tubes, Chimei InnoLux, and HannStar Display, for price-fixing actions during 2001 and 2006.
