
Steven Kolyer
Experience and career history
Steven Kolyer has extensive experience in structured capital markets, investment fund formations and conventional securities offerings, including continuously-offered products. Steven is also experienced in credit-linked notes, funded derivatives and synthetics, and in commercial lending and credit transactions.
Over the years Steven Kolyer has been highlighted by transactions involving innovation and structured solutions in the capital markets. In this regard, he played a lead role in the development of a number of securitization products dating back to the origins of that market, in the U.S. and off-shore, including first-time structures with residential mortgages, consumer receivables and other types of financial assets, and in various types of CDOs and other actively-managed fund and specialty finance products. Recently, Steven has advised in developing innovations for restructurings in credit-stressed markets and in CMBS/ABS TALF and PPIP investment funds and related warehouse financings. Clients have included underwriters and placement agents, issuers, sponsors and originators, fund sponsors and investment managers, derivative counterparties and program sponsors and credit and liquidity providers.
