
Nicholas R. Williams
Experience and career history
Mr. Williams' practice focuses on mergers, acquisitions and capital markets transactions in both the property and casualty and life and health insurance industries. He has extensive experience in all aspects of insurance regulatory matters, including licensings, investments, reinsurance, demutualizations, insolvencies, captive insurer formations and coverage issues. Mr. Williams represents clients in the governmental as well as the private sector.
Mr. Williams also has considerable experience in insurance-related capital markets transactions. He has represented a number of different insurance companies and investment banks in various Rule 144A and Regulation S offerings of securities collateralized by funding agreements issued by US life insurance companies.
