
Lewis Cohen
Experience and career history
Mr Cohen concentrates in the securitization area, representing issuers, credit enhancers and underwriters, including investment banks, commercial banks and other financial institutions, in cross-border securitizations and other structured financial transactions. Mr Cohen has been involved in public and private transactions in the securitization of a wide variety of assets, including bank and private label credit card receivables, trade receivables and equipment leases as well as "future flow" securitizations of assets such as oil and maritime freight receivables. He has worked on structured financings involving domestic US assets, as well as assets originated in Europe, Asia and South America. Mr Cohen's experience includes structuring master trusts, commercial paper vehicles, offshore and domestic special purpose vehicles and other entities that can issue a variety of debt and equity securities. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
