Specialises in banking and trustee and other fiduciary related securities work including securitisations and restructurings.
Partner since 1991, first in Banking (Acquisition Financing, Structured Debt and Real Estate Finance), London and Hong Kong and then since 1999 in the London office of the Capital Markets practice, working principally for trustee clients in relation to securitisations, structured financings and restructurings. Since 2002, partner responsible for Knowledge, Information and Client Education for Finance and Capital Markets. A member of the Firm's Knowledge Committee, Global Standards Group, Global Legal Opinions Committee and London Legal Opinions Committee. Has sat on CLLS and FMLC working group relating to the reform of taking security, security registration and the Pensions Act and trustees.
Published work includes Chapter 5 of Company Charges: Spectrum and Beyond for the OUP and A Conversation with Lord Hoffmann for the Law and Financial Markets Review.
