Experience and career history

Christopher J. Walton focuses on a wide variety of U.S. domestic and international capital markets, merger and acquisition and other corporate transactions. Clients have included corporate issuers and selling securityholders in U.S. and international securities offerings as well as most of the major U.S. and international investment banking firms acting as underwriters in public and private offerings of equity, debt and new financial products. Chris has extensive experience with SEC registered, Rule 144A and traditional private placement securities offerings. He also practices in the mergers and acquisitions area, representing acquirors and sellers in public and private acquisition and divestiture transactions.

Chris has significant experience in the financial institutions, telecommunications, airline and retail sectors, and has completed a wide variety of cross-border capital markets and merger and acquisition transactions involving companies located in Europe and the Americas.
