Experience and career history

Matt Fairclough's practice covers a broad range of debt and equity capital markets, advising underwriters, issuers and trustees on issues of straight debt securities, MTN programmes, convertible and exchangeable bonds (including pre-IPO financings), hybrid capital and regulatory capital products.  Matt also advises on liability management transactions, including tender and exchange offers and consent solicitations, debt restructurings and bespoke private capital markets financings.  His practice sees securities listed on a variety of stock exchanges in Europe, Hong Kong and Singapore.
