Experience and career history

Anand Saha's practice focuses on corporate finance transactions in Latin America, particularly Brazil.  He has extensive experience advising underwriters and issuers on a range of equity and debt capital markets offerings, including both SEC-registered and Rule 144A/Regulation S offerings, high yield bonds, IPOs, NYSE listings, regulatory capital structures and MTN programmes.

Highlights of deals and projects

Anand's recent experience inlcudes representing:

  • Bradesco BBI, BTG Pactual, Itaú BBA and Morgan Stanley as bookrunners in the issuances by Cosan of  US$500,000,000 5.00% notes due 2023 and BRL500,000,000 9.50% notes due 2018.
  • Tonon Bionergia in its debut, high-yield issuance of US$300,000,000 9.25% notes due 2020.
  • BB Securities, BNP Paribas, Bradesco BBI and Citi as bookrunners and dealer managers in the issuance by Construtora Norberto Odebrecht (CNO) of US$450,000,000 7.125% notes due 2042 and simultaneous tender offer for CNO's 2020 and 2023 notes.
  • TAM on its combination with LAN Airlines to form LATAM Group, the largest airline in Latin America and one of the largest airlines in the world (Latin Lawyer M&A Deal of the Year).
