Mr Mackey's practice in corporate and securities law has principally involved various financing vehicles, including public and private investment companies, partnership syndications and structured financings. Mr Mackey has acted as counsel in negotiated mergers and acquisitions and in joint venture transactions. Mr Mackey’s work for clients principally involves the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and includes the organization and ongoing representation of US registered open-end and closed-end investment companies.
